If you plan on using this recipe, this is the recipe I would recommend. I had very little to no luck with getting it into my food processor, so I opted to use a bit more liquid, and I think this helps with it.
I will try to put the garlic and cheese in a saucepan for about 15-20 minutes (i'm having issues using this recipe on a low heat cooker/high heat), which gives it a more gentle flavor. I added more water to mix it up, because that is what really matters.
It looks pretty nice too, and makes my own hot sauce so it should be a bit less spicy.
Hope you had a wonderful summer.
Ingredients:
5 cups water
1 tablespoon olive oil
6 cloves garlic
½ teaspoon salt
8 ounces olive oil
½ teaspoon ground cloves
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (see above), for the salt
Darn your favorite saucepan, I'd recommend you take a large pot and heat oil over medium heat. Add a teaspoon or two of chopped onion, cook for another minute, then add garlic and vanilla to the pan, and cover the pan and let the olive oil simmer for 2-3 more minutes.
Cooked tomatoes, celery, cilantro, bell peppers, and a handful of basil are all worth a try.
